Hot Toddy

"The Remedy of Sugar & Spice"


A hot toddy, also known as hot whiskey in Ireland, is typically a mixed drink made of liquor and water with honey, herbs and spices, and served hot. Hot toddy recipes vary and are traditionally drunk before retiring for the night, in wet or cold weather or to relieve the symptoms of the cold and flu.


1 oz. Left Bank bourbon

1 tablespoon mild honey

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1/4 boiling hot water

cinnamon stick

lemon wedge


Put bourbon, honey, and lemon juice in a 6-ounce mug. Top off with hot water and stir until honey is dissolved.
